At present, the carbon powder processing industry extensively uses the crushing method to produce printer toner. The crushing method can produce toner suitable for dry electrostatic copying, including dual component toner and single component toner (including magnetic and non magnetic types). Due to different development processes and charging mechanisms, the proportion of ingredients varies.
In addition to necessary safety measures, the production of printer toner must also address:
1. To prevent impurities from contaminating the toner, the electrostatic development process has high requirements for toner. Mixing impurities in the toner can directly damage the quality of the photocopy.
2. The collision and friction between carbon powder particles and between particles and the device wall can generate strong electrostatic effects. When the electrostatic phenomenon is severe, it can affect safe operation and even cause more serious consequences. Necessary anti-static measures should be considered.
3. Carbon powder will adhere to the wall of the accumulator, and long-term accumulation will inevitably affect smooth and normal operation, even leading to narrow or even blocked passages. Necessary cleaning measures are necessary.
4. Carbon powder is mainly composed of organic substances, which may cause dust explosions and hidden dangers. It should not be taken lightly.
